I’m Saami
I began painting in 2020 during lockdown as a way to create, escape and express myself. It started with trainers and quickly grew into something bigger as I realised how much joy there is in turning something ordinary into something completely unique.
Art and experimentation drive everything I do. I love pushing boundaries, trying new ideas and seeing where creativity takes me. Every piece I make is hand painted, one of one and deeply personal. Each one carries a sense of fun, individuality and care that I put into it from start to finish.
I believe the world around us is slowly losing its colour. So much of what we wear and use is mass produced and safe. Through my work I want to bring colour and character back into people’s lives. I want my art to remind people of the beauty in boldness and to show that the things we own can tell stories, spark joy and have personality.
For me this is not just about clothing or accessories. It is about celebrating expression, making things that feel alive and creating that spark of excitement when someone receives something made especially for them.
